Prolyphic – Artist Goes Pop (Emancipator Remix)

So, it’s been a while since I’ve put up some new music. For months I was working on my live show for the recent Japan tour. Now I’m back to production, working steadily on finishing my next album. It might be a while before it’s released, so here’s something for the meantime. The raps are by Providence-based rapper, Prolyphic and this remix was made for a contest held by his label, Strange Famous Records. If you dig this, I would highly recommend “The Ugly Truth,” a collaboration album between Prolyphic and one of my favorite hip-hop producers, Reanimator. This isn’t an official remix, unless I happen to win. Check it:

This is amazing. It sounds completely different, but the vocals jive with your music something crazy, it’s amazing! In my opinion, better than the original, nothing bad on the original, but this song is just great.

I agree with Nic. I heard this seconds before trying out the original on YouTube, and I have to admit this v.’s downtemp is just sexy. Your remix gives it a hella mellow / epic feel.
